I study the effects of repeated chemotherapy cycles on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy development and resolution and the role of epigenetics in regulating the peripheral nervous system response to chemotherapy.
I am interested in epigenetics and neurotoxicity, particularly pain as an adverse drug effect
Comfortable working with rodents and bacterial and mammalian cell cultures
Experienced in the analysis of bulk RNA and DNA sequencing data
Proficient in basic wet laboratory procedures including qPCR, ELISA, DNA and RNA extractions, and live cell imaging
Able to competently work with gas chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography, fluorescence detection, and mass spectrometry
Comfortable delivering oral presentations
Proficient in Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, and Ingenuity Pathways Analysis
